Dear Snowcapz lovers,
It is with a sense of both gratitude and sadness that I announce our farewell.
I’m Soyoung, the owner of Snowcapz, and today I’d like to share my story with you. I arrived in Canada from Korea at the age of 22 on a one-year working holiday visa, and I quickly grew attached to the charm of Calgary. Now, at 29, I have had the honor of growing into the owner of Snowcapz, our beloved Korean shaved ice dessert cafe.
With your continued support and kindness, I was able to establish Snowcapz as a cherished brand in Calgary. Over the past 3 years and 7 months, I have experienced much personally and professionally. While I may not share all of it, please know that this decision was not made lightly. Snowcapz holds a very special place in my heart, which made this choice incredibly challenging. However, I feel it is now time to take a pause and allow myself a moment to recharge.
I will always hold the love and support you have given us close to my heart, and I look forward to the day we cross paths again.
